Will drafting services, Liverpool and Wirral

It has been reported that up to 60% of adults in England and Wales do not have a Will in place. This can be for many reasons. Even if you think that your estate is not worth a lot, it may be helpful for your loved ones to have a document which records your wishes and make things easier when it comes to probate matters.

​You may wish to leave provisions for your children or other family members and possibly exclude others for many different reasons. If you do not have a Will the law of intestacy applies and your estate will be split evenly across groups of people in a set order. If you do not want that to happen then it is worth considering recording what you would like to happen.

My will drafting services cost £100 per will.
Yes, if you and your partner and spouse wish to create mirror Wills, the fee is £150 for both.
It's not essential to have a will. Your estate will be distributed in accordance with the law and in a set order, this is called intestacy. You can use the government form to see where your assets would go by following this link (opens in a new tab). If you don’t want this to happen and make the probate process easier for your loved ones, then a will is definitely worth considering.
Yes, absolutely. Our meetings can take place at your home or your workplace. A travelling fee may apply depending upon your location.

Yes, you can. You can’t change it on the document itself, you need to either create a new one or create a codicil.
Once it has been written, signed and witnessed correctly. It can only be used once you have died.
It can be quite straightforward depending on what you want to happen. We can have a meeting (either face to face, by phone or video) to discuss your needs. The will(s) will be prepared as a draft for your approval before a final document is prepared.
Your assets are to be legally distributed by your executors as per your wishes in the will.
A will is valid until you choose to change it.
You can store them in a safe place at home, but you will need to let your executor(s) know where there are. Alternatively, you can store them centrally with HM Courts and Tribunals for £20.
